Still nothing new or exciting to report. Will update with pics, ut not much change, maybre more spines deveoping on all of them, but that's about it.  Here's some pics of the San Pedros, the Giants are not looking too hot right now, need a bit of TLC.  Also excited to see someone beside myself in the followers list :)

November Update

November 18, 2010

Nothing new to report.  Cacti continue to grow more spines and the San Pedros are now strting to grow out of the center upward...finally!  Next month I think I will try a very low dose fertilizer to help things along.

Haloween Update

So not much has changed in the lastsixty days.  The San Pedro cacti are developing spines and darkening drastically.  I have a feeling it may be in part a result of the reduction of moisture I have been providing.   They seem to be doing well.  The Giants are also doing well, still bright but are developing spines as well.

Week 3

Week Three:  Today I noticed that the San Pedros (SP) have developed a "flower" for a lack of better words...?  While it's not actually a flower, there is something white and thread-y emerging from the tops...(hopefully this is not the infamous fungus :()  The Giant Saguaros are still about the same..counted 8 or nine.  That's it for now, also took a cool picture of my largest Century Plant..pretty obvious which one that is.

Week 2

<>
Giant Saguaros
Not too much to report:  The Giants are germinating...the San Pedros are germinating more and still growing but at a slower pace...who knew!  The San Pedro pics are the one with many plats, the Giant Saguaro seeds are the few and far.

Week 1 point 5

I was going to post at weekly intervals, but am excited this evening to see much new growth.   I have 3 seeds germinating from the saguaro and the San Pedros are going nutz!  Even seeing the first color change :-)
